Questions about our agency

Many of you have asked who we used for our agency but I was not able access your blogs to write you back. We used Catholic Social Services of New Orleans. They are actually located in Metairie. If you type in a search online they are very easy to find. The resource I used to find them was Betty Smith of a Little Bit of Heaven Adoption Referral Services. You can find her online as well. Betty was wonderful and had so many resources to connect us to, and her fee was much lower than many referral agencies. Another agency to try is Morning Star Adoption Center of Southfield MI. The contact is Jan Weaver. They are very reasonable and always looking for families. I hope this helps you on your journey!

WE HAVE A BOY!!!

After agonizing for a year and a half over the growing wait for China (with a LID of 7-28-06), we began the domestic adoption process in the interim. After only two months, we are SO PROUD to annouce, we have a beautiful baby boy from New Orleans!!! Please help us welcome, Joe's baby brother, Nichollas!!! And as fate would have it, the birth Mother and I, named him the SAME first and middle name without knowing what the other had chosen!!! It was meant to be! This is the best thing we have ever done since this mess with China. And no, we are not giving up on our dream to adopt from China, we are just going to have three little blessings instead of two!
