Our baby in China, Hope!

After a very long wait, she is finally here,...our Hope. The five year wait brought us two more beautiful souls that were adopted domestically from New Orleans. The wait for China turned out to be one of our greatest blessings and now we will have four children total! Three adopted domestically, and now Hope, from China. Here she is! Born May 3, 2011 in Kunming!

Congratulations, just jumping over from RQ to see the new babies. I don't usually comment but she's beautiful! I also love that over the wait, you built your wonderful family, it is a blessing, isn't it?! Touched this mommy's heart.

Wonderful news, congratulations!
Kunming is a very special place, my baby was born there in October 06 and I adopted her in July 07.
Lovely to hear of another Kunming cutie coming home.
Here's the link to the Yunnan group in case you haven't got it yet:

Hello!

I am a research assistant at Kennesaw State University working on a research project with Dr. Nicole Martin. We are examining the adjustment to parenthood through adoption. We are recruiting married women who are about to travel to adopt a baby through international adoption. We are located in Atlanta but we are conducting this study entirely by mail.

In our search for participants, I noticed that you are about to travel to adopt. I wish you all the best in your adoption journey. I am wondering if I can speak to you further about our study and see if this is something you would like to participate in.

All the best,

Angela Daniels

I saw your blog from the "Babies" post on RQ and had to comment! We have just begun paper chasing for our newest son who is also in Kunming! Our pictures of him are actually in the same walker that your Hope is in.
Blessings to you, she is lovely!
